When looking on travel/hotel review websites, such as tripadvisor and hotels dot com, who is most negative?

When ever I am looking at these travel review websites I notice that rural Americans and midwesterners to be the least critical. It seems that suburbanites are the most negative, with urbanites falling into a mixed bag in the middle.

The absolute most negative people seem to be suburbanites from the area surronding New York City. New York City dwellers seem to be a little less negative except when it comes to service.

Opinions…observations?

It depends which country your looking at i use tripadvisor a lot to check stuff out and people from all countries whine about something. So i think we can put it down as human nature if you put people out of their comfort zone they complain.
