Travel Bermuda: Grotto Bay-Travel Video Review
Just about any place in Bermuda has impressive views of the turquoise water, the colored houses and rich vegetation that make Bermuda one of the most lovely and sought after island anywhere.
But some places get it more right than others

Grotto Bay Beach Resort , for example, is a short bus ride from the historic, laid back town of St. George.
The multi leveled property with manicured lawns gives a terrific view of the blue water. The beach is small but clean with a gracefully curved shore line…an d
The staff are very hepful, friendly…and the two caves filled with beautiful blue green water are magical
So what’s the problem?
We object to nickel and diming guests, so we think it’s wrong for Grotto Bay to charge for just about everything from the exercise room to Internet use. We think the confusion over the breakfast options leaves guests feeling every piece of fruit or bagel is being scrutinized by staff so a charge can be assessed.
We also say Leave a bowl of fruit around, and have complimentary coffee or soft drinks available during the day.
Groto bay is a wonderful place, but management needs to be more generous, and cut guests some slack regarding costs.

being as you brought it up. was 2 strangers + she got on with out a helmet(illegal). after trying to get a taxi and non showed up (a huge problem) she was 16 and drunk (18 is the age). her friend also go on a bike with out a helmet, and she arrived home. she should have stayed with her friend. the murder was brutal! and not committed by a bermudian, but the bermudian did not stop the jamaican(in my eyes that is worse). everyone messed up on that case and it is disgusting how it all went wrong.

We just came back …
We just came back from Grotto Bay and you nailed it with this VIDEO. Love it. OUTSIDE BAR If it rains there, the Outside Bar does not OPEN. and No food served at all. Even though it is all under a Canopy. I would never go there again. NEVER… Do yourself a favor, Go to MEXICO. That is my opinion, Been to Mexico many times, and Have to say, There is food, internet, and drinks all day long, and all for FREE, with the all inclusive package.

Bermuda has not relied on tourism as its main industry in quite sometime, Exempt companies are more profitable for the island now.

Well the Middleton girl should have never gotten on the bike. Ther island is safe if you don’t act stupid. I just got back from 5 weeks there and nothing happened to me, I visit yearly and have had no encounters.

People have to make money somewhere, Bermuda relies souly on there tourism, not like the States

She was the one who got on a bike with a strange person! It is not Bermuda’s fault, I just got back from 5 weeks there, and practically live there during the summer, my grandmother has a house there and my mum was born and raised there. Bermuda is like any place, you can get hurt, Rebecca should have never gotten on that bike, it is not Bermuda’s fault.
