    @Manwithjeep – Cuba …
    @Manwithjeep – Cuba is on the European voltage 220. Sometimes resorts will have a 110V for Razors only, but if you have any other electrical device, you need a small kit that you can get at Canadian Tire or hardware stores – Hi/Lo transformer, shouldnt cost anymore than $30 and you have it forever. Some appliances like hairdryers have a dual switch, and laptops work on 220V – you only need an adapter plug. But anything else on 110V, you need a Converter.

    Hi normalman. …
    Hi normalman. Unfortunately this is a common occurance at mass market all inclusive resorts – not only the Grand Play Turquesa or its management. I’ve see this phenomenon at tons of resorts. Unless you get into the higher priced all inclusives, here’s my suggestion: if you find chairs with just a towel on it, take the chair! Unless people have personal belongings there, it is unbeleivably rude to be holding chairs! If questioned, just play dumb – “I dunno, it was free when I got here”! :>)

    I stayed there two …
    I stayed there two weeks, it’s a good deal, but people hold the chairs at the pools with towels all day long, even though they don’t use them. The Cuban management there should control the misuse of the chairs around the pool.
