what happens if you cancel hotel reservations?
i made reservations tonight for a hotel room for tomorrow-tuesday. they have my credit card #. will they bill me if i cancel my reservation? they didn’t really say whether they would or not..
Generally, there will be a defined date/time where you can cancel without penalty. If you cancel later or are a no show, you’re charged for the first night. Each hotel or hotel goup will have it’s own policy which should have been available when you booked. In some cases, if you get a special discounted rate, your card is billed immediately for the cost and there are no changes or refunds.
check the cancellation policy on their website. You can call them to confirm. Going through third party to book them?
