Then you have the flexibility to stay in a town longer if you really like it. In all my travels in Mexico, I only remember one hotel that turned me away because they were full and that was because they were unloading a bus full of German tourists when I pulled up. Even though it is not peak season the cities you're visiting have many tourists, national and international.
