Trying to find the best website for discounted travel deals?

OKay, we’re driving to Florida in a couple months, and I need to find a hotel. There’s so many travel sites to choose from. WHich one gives the best dealss? I have the ones I have heard of listed. If you have a better one, let me know:
Orbitz
Travelocity
Priceline
Expedia

You’ll find the same rates on most of those sites (plus/minus a few dollars in some cases) since they all get their rates from the same source.

If you want to find the absolute lowest rate, try http://www.kayak.com (they check rates on lots of different sites).

I use http://www.resideo.com/ — they’ve got a cool search feature and the booking process is real easy.

Hope that helps!

What and where are the best travel deals?

I’m also active duty military, if that helps.

I’m ex-Navy. Best travel deals are, of course, to use Space Available Travel [1]. Take 3 weeks of leave and be prepared to go anywhere, and don’t mind where you end up.

Next best deals are European lowfare airlines. I’ve flown Ryanair [2] for 1.99 euros. There are others, such as EasyJet [3].

Many commands also have free travel agents for the military. Here’s a secret: You can call any base that has a travel agency and they will arrange your travels for you to go anywhere within their AOR. They have direct access to airline databases, etc…

In europe there is also the EurailPass if you enjoy riding the train. You’ll go to tons of countries on the cheap. [4]

What is the best website to find good travel deals and why?

Check out these sites: www.cheaptravelnetwork.com, www.travelocity.com, www.orbitz.com, www.priceline.com, www.qixo.com, www.kayak.com, www.cheaptickets.com, www.expedia.com, www.hotwire.com, www.cheapflights.com, www.mobissimo.com, www.farechase.com, www.sidestep.com, www.globester.com Why….. because they offer discount deals for flight, hotels, rentals, etc.

Where can I find last-minute international travel deals from Los Angeles for holiday travel?

Is there such a thing? Looking for either air-only or air-hotel packages. THANKS!

Most booking sites have a last minutes or "special offers" option.

Check for instance the last minutes packages of Travelocity.

Otherwise, find the cheapest flights for your preferred destination(s) and travel dates with the standard engine of booking sites.

The best booking sites, including Travelocity, are selected here: http://www.willgoto.com/1/023798/liens.aspx

Where is the best place to look to find the best travel deals?

Im trying to plan a trip to Vegas to get married, and i am looking for a package that includes marriage, roundtrip, meals, hotel stay! Is there any packages like that? If so where can i get the info? I have been on a few vegas websites, but i cant find what im looking for! Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are no packages to Vegas that will include meals and marriage. All you will find is fight + hotel + car rental + show tickets.

Southwest Airlines Vacation is currently offering a great package deal to Las Vegas. Here is more information. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.php

Travel deals for active duty military going home for a funeral?

My great grandma died and I’m trying to go home this weekend for the funeral. Are there any airlines that give good deals for this? I’m active duty Air Force. I’m kind of short and everything I’m finding is around $500. Any ideas?

Airlines offer "bereavement fares" but they’re a "percentage off" the full fare, and often some of the other discounted fares are better than the bereavement fares. You should call the airline and see if they offer any discounted fares. You should tell them that you’re active duty military and that you’re going to a funeral. Some airlines also have special fares for active duty personnel, although lately you have to be traveling on orders in order to get that discount.

What is the best site to find Las Vegas travel deals

I’m looking to travel to Vegas this year (from Toronto, Canada).
I know the great deals are out there, I just don’t know where to look.

For flights, go a search on Kayak Engine and it will check all the airlines and major travel sites and return the lowest fare.

For hotels, book directly from the hotels on the Vegas strip using their discount promo codes. Here are a few codes. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/special.php
