NO I am not going to stalk her, my Family and I are planning a trip to Philadelphia and my daughter adores her. I thought it would be nice to stay in a hotel her idol once stayed in.

Judging by her attire & singing, she’ll probably be staying at Motel 6.

That way, she’ll be closer to K-mart! It is evident, she LUVS the blue-light specials!

My friends and I want to be as close as possible to the action so which hotel would be the closest?

I think you should check this http://www.lodging-motels.com/united_states-country-california-state-santa_barbara-city-lodging-reservation to get a nice hotel near to that location.

Have a happy Halloween ……

Planning my 2009 Disney World vacation and would like some info on nearby Downtown Disney hotels that are actually walking distance to Downtown Disney. Not planning on renting a car since we’ll be in the area for just a couple of nights. Did not want to spend an arm and a leg for this hotel since we will only be utilizing it for a good nights sleep…Any info will be appreciated! Have a great day.

Yes, I agree with the person above. I just booked at the Hilton which is right across the street from Downtown Disney, because of it’s close distance. There’s also a DoubleTree and a few others right in that area.

Here’s a full list of the hotels right in that area:

Soon I want to go to NYC with my parents, and we are looking for a hotel. As hotels (and parking) are so expensive in the city, someone told me we should find a hotel in Newark instead. Is that practicable if you are planning to do sightseeing every day? How long does the train ride into NYC take and do the trains go all day (so that we are flexible with the times)? Can anyone recommend a good, not too expensive hotel?

If you guys don`t care about your accommodations, and just want something clean and simple, why don`t you stay in a hostel right in manhattan? My friends and I always stay at The Big Apple Hostel right in Times Square (45th and Broadway). It’s only $37/night per person, and you’re right in the thick of things. It’s clean, and functional with private rooms and 4 bathrooms to a floor. It also has a nice common area, and patio out back. You won’t really be spending much time in the hostel anyways, and by staying here, you’ll save so much on cabs, or so much time not having to take subways back into the city.

I’m going there for the 6th time this weekend and can’t wait! Trust me, you will love it! If you have any questions, feel free to message me! :)

It’s on the drive from Garmisch. The hotel has a restaurant that is… basically for kids, there is an indoor pool, an area for kids to play in indoors, and a large play area outside. There is also underground parking. The outside looks small and there is another restaurant that has a bar attached that is for adults. Can anyone tell me what hotel this is?
Thank you.

go to BookMe. You can compare prices on all the major travel sites from one location. It’s the only way you can guarantee the best deals for the best hotels for your money online.

I’m staying in a London hotel for a few days and it’s my first time without parents/company, what time do hotel room cleaners usually show up in the morning? I usually wake up late 11am-ish.

8am is the usual starting time for cleaners (except in hotels around London’s airports where they begin even earlier.)
But you can ask the reception staff to warn the cleaners you’re having a lie-in, as well as hanging out the ‘do not disturb’ sign.

Once you are up and ready, though, just let them know at reception, or tell the cleaners themselves if you pass them in the hallway.
DON’T hang the ‘please clean my room’ sign out. This is just an advert to any thief looking for rooms whose owners aren’t around.

Have a great time here — love from a Londoner born and bred.

I’m doing a report for a Guest Management Service class on "How Expensive is too Expensive?" in regards to hotel prices. What you pay on average for a hotel room? And what do you think certain age groups pay for hotels? Who’s more attracted to the expensive hotels and the cheap or medium priced hotels?

On average, I pay between $80-$100 for a moderate hotel room that offers free internet and breakfast. I will pay up to $250 for a hotel room in a prime location (such as major cities or on the beach). The time of year also effects the cost of a room. A hotel in Washington, D.C. can be $75.00 a night in March but $375 in October or April. I think younger hotel guests are more interested in finding the cheapest price. Older guests are willing (and able) to pay higher prices for a prime location in high season that offers amenities such as restaurants, spa services, gym, pool, etc. Families want a moderate price for a clean, safe hotel.
